Lakewood Recommended Reads aims to connect our members with Christian resources that are theologically robust and useful for faith and obedience. The Author of Hebrews exhorts believers to be discerning, saying, "solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil" (Hebrews 5:14). Paul warns the Thessalonian believers that they should "test everything," but hold onto "what is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
