Our Pastor
Pastor Dave was born in Oak Ridge, TN, where his parents planted Oak Ridge Baptist Church. His family also ministered in Pennsylvania and Michigan, before God moved Dave to Wisconsin to study at Maranatha Baptist Bible College. In 2007, Dave graduated with a Bachelor of Science; in 2008, he graduated again with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. He is presently pursuing a Master of Divinity.
When it comes to ministry, Pastor Dave is passionate about evangelism, preaching, church-planting, and market-place apologetics.
While Pastor Dave is a "transplant" to WI, his wife Emiley is a genuine Lake Country girl, who grew up in Oconomowoc. Pastor Dave and Emiley have been married for three years and presently reside on in the City of Delafield, near Cushing School.
When Pastor Dave and Emiley are away from Lakewood, they enjoy spending time with their two Labrador Retreivers (Jack and Charlie), drinking coffee at Milwaukee Street Traders, reading, and occasionally kayaking, swimming, or fishing. Emiley particularly enjoys decorating and working with children. Pastor Dave enjoys a good round of golf and can be found at Nagawaukee or Western Lakes golf courses on Monday mornings when the weather is favorable.
