Our Ministries

Truth Trackers for Kids:

Each Wednesday evening, the children enjoy learning the Bible in Truth Trackers, a program designed to teach children doctrine. The children enjoy a fun time, a targeted Bible lesson, and then are challenged to memorize Bible verses and read their devotional week throughout the week. Parents are encouraged to be involved with their children as they memorize and read throughout the week, providing an excellent and natural opportunity to disciple your children.

Lakewood Teens:

This group meets each week for Sunday School at 9:15 AM and on Wednesday evening at 7:00. They also have periodic activities like hayrides, mini-golf, laser tag, etc. Each summer, our teens go to a week of Christian camp, where they will be challenged to walk with God, while having an absolute blast!

Lakewood Young Adults:

Each Sunday evening at 6:15 pm, the Young Adults meet together at Roots Coffee and Cafe and Oconomowoc.  A hour is spent in a relaxed, interactive Bible study that addresses life issues.  This group also has multiple activities throughout the year. In the past, we've had special Bible studies, sports days, hiking at Devil's Lake, picnics, ice skating, game nights, etc. Check out our facebook page for upcoming events!

Women's Ministry:

The ladies periodically enjoy a "Ladies Night Out" in which they have a home, cooking, or craft demonstration, followed by a Bible study. They also conduct periodic Bible studies at targeted times throughout the year. Many of the ladies are also involved in providing meals to families who are going through difficult times.

Men's Ministry:

Our mission is to strengthen Lakewood Baptist Church by challenging men to love the Lord, to love and lead their wives, and to lovingly nurture their children. For the purpose of prayer, growth, and accountability, several small group meetings occur throughout the week at different places and times, each targeting men.

Join us on Thursday Mornings, 6:30 AM @ Stone Creek Coffee in Delafield (83 and 94)

Also, once per season, we enjoy a "Man Breakfast," featuring a special speaker. Beyond that, several times a year, we enjoy a "Man Event." This year, we are planning on a whitewater adventure, a cookout, and a golf outing. Some events are evangelistic while others are focused on internal growth.

Evangelism Task Force (ETF):

While we encourage every family to be gospel witnesses to their friends, neighbors, and families, as a normal way of life, ETF is our evangelism team that evangelizes and shares gospel literature at purposeful times on the calendar like at Milwaukee Bucks games, outside popular destinations, etc.
