More important than any other description of our church, we are one that believes the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are unsure what "gospel" means or if you have never turned from your sins and trusted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then check out "Two Ways to Live" below!
At Lakewood, our overall purpose is to bring glory to God (Ephesians 3:21).
Every believer needs a good church home where their families can take the next spiritual step in their relationships with Jesus Christ! At Lakewood, the Bible is the center of everything that we do. From preaching that goes through entire books of the Bible, to God-honoring musical worship services, to childrenʼs training that focuses on the truths of Godʼs Word, our church is committed to knowing God through His Word.
While we realize that Lakewood is not for everyone, many have made it their church home. If you are looking for a church that believes in Bible preaching instead of “talks” or “homilies” and God-honoring musical worship instead of fog machines, strobe lights, and rock bands, then be our guest this Sunday at Lakewood Baptist Church.
